1st the house. No pictures today of the house because it really isn't too impressive on a picture, but we did finish all of the insulation. I should have gotten a picture of my dad and Eric yesterday, especially Eric because he was kind of a snowman when he came down from the attic! Hopefully the inspector can come tomorrow and we can finish the sheetrock on the walls. Then onto taping and texturing! One step closer! 2nd the meets. Carsyn had two meets this week: Meet #1 it was 103 degrees with no real shade, luckily most of it was on the grass! He did PR and he came in 15th. His team won the meet so they were happy with that. Meet #2 was up in Murray. He PR'd again which was great considering he was running at a higher altitude, but he didn't quite meet his personal goal, so he was happy almost. 3rd the missionary: Brooklyn is doing great still. Sleeping better now that she can tune out some of the noise. She is used to her very quiet and very dark basement room. Luckily for the past 6 months she has been where there have been lights, sirens, etc during the night so it's not such a shock to her sleeping self. She did clarify that she does hear gunshots often during the day so that's also new to her. She loves her District, she loves her companion. In her words "The second week was so much better than the first! As always, lots of classes, "study time" and hanging out with my district, comp, and roommates." From her e-mail: We had Carlos Godoy and L. Whitney Clayton from the Seventy come and speak to us on Saturday. They were both so great! The talked a lot about how we never know how many people our missionary work will actually affect. "God called you. He didn't call someone who would never be afraid, he called you." - Hermana Coachwell Also, I think we finally got most of the things that were not quite right on the way to her. Fingers crossed!!
